The Patrika Matching score out of 36 is read against traditional thresholds. The bands below show how the number is usually interpreted for marriage compatibility.

The number is a guide, not a verdict. Which factors are low matters as much as the total, so a Patrika Milan score of 24 with a strong Nadi and Bhakoot reads very differently from a 24 weakened by a Nadi Dosha. A low total is a reason to look deeper into both patrikas, especially at dosha cancellations and the Navamsa chart, rather than a reason to reject a match outright.

Doshas and Mangal Dosha in Patrika Matching

Two of the eight factors can create a dosha when they score zero. Nadi Dosha, when both partners share the same Nadi, and Bhakoot Dosha, from certain Moon sign relationships, both lower the score sharply but carry recognised cancellation rules, so a cancelled dosha does not carry the same weight.
